is it normal to get like really cold without having a stoge for a day i didn't have one for a whole day and all night i kept rollin around so hard to sleep and i was really cold all this morning till i finally got 2 and smoked one now im completely fine wtf is this normal?

yeah man, nicotine withdrawal is a bitch. Im not sure on the cold part, but the rolling around not able to sleep was def the nicotine withdrawal. right now im doing the nicotine patches route, cigarette addiction sucks man, but I already got on methadone and tackled my heroin addiction, so just like I told myself I would do after that, im tackling my nicotine addiction

i agree with that somewhat. physically nicotine is not the worst drug to withdrawl from.

on the other hand, nicotine WD is the worst because if you want to stop. you know that at the nearest gas station there is some cigs, you go for a walk to help ease the WD you see a person smoking. its just so hard because it is so acceptable.

patches, or those mints, are the way to go if you want to taper. i find cold turkey works best when you are forced to stop. such as being under age and going on vacation if parents that dont know you smoke (1st time) or going to basic training (coming up)

I quite cigs twice, and the last time with few problems. That was 4 years ago.

People tell me that cigarettes are tougher to quit than heroin.. Well, I'm just getting into oxy now and I have no plans to ever go back to smoking, so I figure quitting this oxy should be a breeze.

Very flawed statement. I take it you have a good deal of knowledge being a mod and all, but that statement is just not true.

I've quit heroin, oxy, pot and nicotine all before. Honestly, while nicotine cravings are a bitch - they're nothinggg compared to opiate withdrawl. And to tell you the truth oxy withdrawls are probably worse then heroin WDs.

But yeah nicotine WD sucks ass, it's just because it ends up being such a normal habit, every other drug you get fucked up after taking. cigs can be smoke anywhere/anytime and nobody gives a fuck!

I'd like to say i'm stong enough to quit, I did once for like 3 months but I smoke now so i'm not saying shit..

Ugh, I hate smoking, but it's so hard to quit.

I've never had physical symptoms of withdrawal when I've tried quitting, but maybe I didn't go long enough to let them set in. Actually, yeah, it was really hard to sleep when I tried quitting, so I guess that counts as a physical symptom, and yes, it is absolutely normal.

The psychological effects were annoying as fuck, though.
