It would be chloroform actually I think, the formation from evaporated chlorine.

People can be dosed on chloroform.

It's surely a toxic thing, but I reckon far worse is out there.

Your body should be able to detox. NAC would help, think it's banned now, for detoxing lungs.

Nebulising 3% hydrogen peroxide.

Chelating agents like Chlorophyll, also ...ZEOLITE!

Get that. Super natural pretty much all good powerful detoxer.

Likely won't be enough chloroform for acute toxicity. Also you would recognize acute chloroform toxicity (it has anesthetic effects). Chloroform is trichloromethane, and isn't going to form in large amounts from the reaction of hypochlorite with organic material from a cig. There will be plenty of things formed (like various chloramines), but these will not be at high enough levels to worry for non-chronic exposure

You likely will be fine, even pure pool shock is 17% hypochlorite. If you were to smoke enough of it to be damaged it would be immediately painful. If it was just pool water you are definately ok.

Activate Charcoal! Surely positively indicated in any cases of mild moderate or severe poisoning as being counteracting?
