Just had a thought, do relationships work better when you've known them as a friend since childhood with a partner, you've grown up with them, know them well, gone through school with them, gone to college with them then getting married, does that work better than being single most your life then get a relationship with a some stranger you met at a nightclub? Is this why everything is so random and mixed up these days because people are going with people randomly at clubs. Do you have a partner or wife or husband you've known since childhood sweetheart days?

It depends on the person. For me, anyone who I met when I was a kid, I wouldn't be compatible with right now. I've changed a lot from then until now. People in general change a LOT.

I don't see what's wrong with meeting someone at a club, getting to know them, starting to date them, starting a relationship with them, and getting married. I think it's awesome when people meet at random places like that. I think it's good to meet at places where you have a mutual interest - that way, you have something to start off with.

I met my boyfriend when I was 19 and in college. We've both changed a ton since then (four years ago) but we were WAY different earlier in our lives. From the way he's described himself when he was younger, and how I know I was when I was younger, we totally never would have been friends back then!! lol I think it's better this way :)
