I saw a fair amount of cops driving around today but nobody getting busted. I dunno why your PCs are dried up cuz there's definitely no drought at the moment. Used to be when i went to my spot we'd have to wait around for dude with the pack to show up, which was always really sketchy. Lately they've been on point serving really quickly. It definitely seems like some of the spots are hit and miss as to whether they'll be out serving, but everything i've been getting is pretty decent quality so it doesn't really matter to me which spot i go to.
 
My PC has been serving smaller sized bags, too. I wonder if they finally realized that the extra dorm is a waste of effort.
 
I had something pretty weird happen today. I have been using a pc for several years, but the last time I called the number, the phone was handed to another guy to work while my usual PC was "out of town". This happens every once in a while, and I always assume that the PC had to spend some time making new friends at county. It is weird how they hand the phone off to others.

Anyway, the new guy served me that time and gave me his own phone number to call if I ever needed him. Today, on a lark, I just decided to call the new guy to see what he could do for me. I value good service and high quality and always give my guys a good deal on my end. If they keep the quality high and don't make me wait "5 minutes" I always pay $10 per bag and let them keep the extras for a tip. This may seem weird, but it beats getting ganky bags and spending excess time in shady areas, but back to the story. Sometimes I will ask for 11 on the hundred, but that is my usual deal.

This guy, without even blinking, said he could get me 100 for $400. This is orders of magnitude better than any deal I have ever gotten. It also made me wonder about the whole nickel issue I went into a few pages back. Anyway I got there and when he served me he apologized and said that he could only give me 80 for $400. I took the deal without hesitation. This is by far the best deal I have ever gotten. I have been doing this for 20 years, so I have seen about everything there is to see, but this is blowing my mind. Have I been getting played for all these years and this is a usual deal or is this something unusual. I do not mean to be discussing pricing and I am not giving out any particulars on location or type of bag or anything like that. I just want to know if this is standard operating procedure or if I am into something unusual. This is all from a harm reduction point of view, because I want to know exactly what I am getting, so that I don't think these are nickels and wind up ODing on regular dimes. Can anyone help me out there befor I start tearing into these, not knowing what I am getting?

I'm confused as to what you are asking. If you are asking if they are nickel bags then yes they are. 100 nickels for 400 is a pretty good deal still but 80 nickels for 400 would be exactly the right price (5 per bag). If these are the same bags size wise that you were getting from the other dude that's on "vacation" and you were paying as if they were sawbucks then I hate to say it but you were most likely getting played because no matter how good of a customer you are 80 sawbucks for 400 would never happen in a million years. I mean that would be the deal of a life time and you basically hit the dope jackpot. If I misunderstood the question then I apologize but if you were asking if you got 80 sawbucks for that price, I would say there's a 99% chance that they are nickels. Hope that helps.
 
No. You are right on the money with your analysis. I checked them out, but they did seem to be dime quality bags (even though they are in the smaller bags), so it is a huge mystery to me. I would pay a dime for one of them under normal circumstances. It is very helpful to know that this is as weird as I thought it was. I am still pretty happy with the whole thing. Also, I got a late text after the deal went down from the new PC telling me that I will only get 65 for that price in the future, so that only makes me think that they were dimes. Maybe they are just trying to pry me away from my old PC. I am a pretty good customer, and maybe they see the value. Still 65 for 400 is pretty sweet. I think I have made a new friend.

Also- Chinky, I would be more than glad to slip you a couple of them for testing. Get back in state and maybe I will catch you with some next time. I feel for your situation.
 
Chinky- I am interested in your situation but don't mean to pry or anything. Right now you are 9 months clean, and most of us (I know I would) would kill to be 9 months clean. I am interested in your thoughts and how it feels to be in your position. You seem like a really bright guy and the world is at your feet right now. You could do anything you want and you definitely know exactly what it means to get back on the treadmill. I am not at all judging and totally understand how appealing it is to get back in the swing of things. I would be interested in hearing what you are thinking right now and how it feels to be where you are. Please don't feel like you have to respond to this or anything, but it is just that you are in a really interesting crossroads and I am sure that you have some thoughts about your choices that would be definitely worthwhile for us to hear.

65 sawbucks for that price is still unreal. If the quality is on point and if they are sawbucks bro, then you literally found the best PC in the city of Chicago, probably in the state of Illinois, and possibly in the United States of America, lol!

Believe me, I know exactly where you are coming from. I have been doing this for a long time and realize how weird this is. It could be just a promotional to get me to come over to the substitute on a full time basis. If so, they were successful in getting my attention.
 
Chinky- I want to clarify what I am asking. I think every single person who has ever read this board would say that they would stay clean after 9 months. I also think that the same group of people would probably be dying to pick up if they were actually in your position right now. I am just interested in the draw of all this and how we keep getting back on the treadmill. Since you are bright and eloquent, I think that your thoughts would give us all insight into our hobby. I also completely understand if you would just take a pass on this request. Thanks either way.

Also- If they are nickels, 65 would be a serious ripoff. These guys have been dealing with me for a long time and know I am a serious customer and they would be risking a good thing if they tried such an obvious play on me. I go out of my way to make my business worth their while. I am very clear with them that I pay extra for service, discretion and quality. To just play me on a couple of buys would not be worth losing my business (or so any sane person would think). I tell them right out that I only want 10 or 11 for a pack. They get the extra bags in addition to their normal take. Would you risk that kind of a customer for some stupid bullshit? They know that I have plenty of other options, and they have made serious money off me over the years.

well forced rehab is a little bit different then actually stopping on your own, I didn't willfully stop...so right now I just need to get it outta my system, let me get a proper high a few times and lets see how I take it..i feels good not being a slave to anything anymore and actually spending money on something besides just dope..but when I find a connect here am I gonna go back to the way it was?..no I don't plan that but you never know..ive never really been more then 3months clean since I started and that was the last time I went to jail..i cant say what its like to relapse and how hard im gonna take it..either way I know it will be less then if I as still living back home and had access to unlimited amounts

but really I just miss it

You never know man, some people are pretty stupid and will rip off whoever they can whenever they can. I mean, if you are happy with the quantity you are getting for the price you are paying then that's all that matters. But, if you do find out that this dude has been ripping you off I would definitely say something. I just never heard of such an amazing deal as what you got and even the 65 for that price is just unreal.

Thanks for that honest insight into where your head is at. I think it definitely gives insight into how we all basically think. I know that I would be thinking the same thing you are thinking if I were in your shoes, even if I kid myself that I might do something different. It is easy to sit where I am now and think what I would do if I were where you are at. I appreciate the straight word from you on this.

That is exactly what is tormenting me. I am thinking everything seems straight, but I can't accept that it is. Something has to be wrong and figuring out the angle (or if there is one) is really driving me crazy. I have sat back and read this thread for years and this is the first thing that has driven me to write in.

Well, if dude has been playing you and you confront him about it, if he has any common sense or if he's any kind of business man, he'll see that he's pissed off a valuable customer and do whatever he can to make it right and make you happy.

As I am sure you know, the feeling of the first one back after a long dry spell is never as good as you think it will be. When I get back in after a long time off, I get stomach cramps really bad for like a day. The second time after that, the cramps are still there, but the third time it is as good as you remembered it. At least that is how it has always been for me.
 
Has anybody gone to the blue devil/red smiley spot lately? Just curious cause my trip to the city is coming up this saturday. Also since I have never been there are they pretty legit? Meaning if I have a couple hundo will I be treated properly? From my experience, that neighborhood is traveling vice lord if I'm not mistaken. They usually have a pretty good track record with treating people right. Any feed back would be great. I have been robbed before and really would rather not have that happen this time around. I know it's a real stupid question but it's been a long time since I have been to the west side. I don't think I will have any problems from reading some of your posts but just wanna make sure.

fuck this shit...I was clean for pretty much 3 months, the longest time since I slipped about 2 1/2 yrs ago, and I figured it was time, i owed it to myself. So like I said in my last post, i picked up half a jab on Friday after work on went through it friday night to sunday morning. Good straight dope. Best batch my PC has had in a year, according to some other friends who use the same guy, and after doing one bag on Friday, i agreed. So I had a good, high, weekend, didn't get in trouble with the wife, nothing. Kept it under control.

Did my last bag on Sunday mid-day, then went out with the family. Felt ok till we got home around 6pm, when the sweats started to kick in. Then the numb restless feet, and my stomach and bowels started. So I waited a few hours and put up with it, until around 9pm when I took my first sub. Was fucking sick all day Monday, at work, the whole deal. More sub and some other meds, went home, went to sleep. Tuesday, today, was high anxiety all morning, nausea, the regular deal. More sub, and the last of my Kpins got it under control.

I've taken 12mg of sub today, a couple of kpins (none left, fml) and I only feel almost normal. I understand that this is nothing compared to some w/d I've been through, and thank god nobody said anything....but fuck it, man, it's just not worth it. This shit gets harder and worse everytime I use.

As for the deals the DR. was talking about up there, my guy is running a 15 in a jab (fuck that tipping shit, I agree with Chink), and on holidays or whatever, he's texted me a 5 packs for $400 deal. You do the math. That's like the numbers you're talking about up there. nothing close to 100 for 4 bills, that's super crazy. But these guys (the good ones, with good product and customers) are making bank, hand over fist. if they can run a deal like that, you know the daily profit is large.

anyway, sorry for my ramble..........Chinky - think about it bro. I never thought I'd be here after 2 1/2 yrs trying to stay straight and finding it so hard. well, now i've proven i can't even play around for a weekend without the consequences getting more severe. I'm on 4mg sub per day, and never had a problem getting high - the dope always broke through. I guess maybe now I hit the point where playing with the sub and the dope has just caught up with me.

fuck me, man. i'm gonna take another 4mg and try to get some sleep. Hopefully not the sweaty kind.
