It's probably at least safer what you did though. Every minute you stay out there is another chance cpd could pick you up. So i feel you there i guess but man fuck that I'm not going home til i find something. Maybe you need to broaden your horizons though. Idk where you shop or get off the L but maybe try something new. when i used to go out west a personally preferred the blue line than the green line.


On a different subject, i just came to my grandmas house who has 2 of my dads dogs. I guess she took them to the forest preserve recently and they have ticks all over. Some of them were huge so i know they've been on them a while. I ran to the pet store and bought this shampoo and some medicine your suppose to put on them. Does anyone have any type of experience with this? Does the shampoo work? I'm super grossed out by them and my grandma was like clueless about the whole thing.

Ticks suck to get off, especially dogs unless you have a dog that will sit still for this and depending how long they've been there, I've found the best way to get them off is to touch the tick with a lit cigarette and it will remove itself from the skin and then you just have to pick them off. You just want to make sure the whole thing comes out. If the body comes off but the head stays in the skin, it can get badly infected. Also, the bigger it is the longer its been there. Because they drink the blood so they start to blow up like tiny water ballons.

Nah, just havent erased in a minute. I took the green to Cicero today. My pm wont let me respond for 180 minutes. Anyway, i walked for what seemed like a hot minute south west. And nothing. CPD was out, though. Im not used to this. Im used to having people on speed dial or getting off 75 at 6 mile and being straight. I was edgy. Maybe thats why. I dont know.
 
Just replied to you Nola - and goodtymes I'll reply after my 180 minutes is up. Sending both you my encrypted email no more worries about maxing out the 5 message Inbox BL limit. Also I wish some of the cooler sounding people on here would use TorChat - there's always such a lag between posts, responses, PMs, etc. Then again, maybe I'm just super bored since my WS fiasco earlier today. Which, speaking of the WS, is something I should qualify: I rarely WS it (no car, just walk up to a semi-close edge of a super hot set of blocks). I've tried about 5 times in the last 2 months and only got lucky once (second time was 2 that were OK, 3 that were straight up baking powder..no joke). Before I left I had great PC in Rogers Park and other northside areas. Rarely if ever did open air.
 
Traveling through chicago this week. I feel ya dopeman it's all bullshit for me too. Gave a dude money here in my hometown came back with drywall chalk it up to inbreeding or just feindish behavior. Needless to say I have been without for two days and it's run me ragged. Was chugging chardonnay in the Fucking back of the kitchen at work. Saving money for the trip. Came up to see bass drum off death and got too drunk to care for anything but roccccksssss and yola. Excited for my trip back. Trying to be a boy scout this time
 
I've been on the meth clinic on and off for five years. I was just recently detoxed from one clinic and restarted on a different clinic and i swear, waiting to get to a stable dose is straight hell. I was stable at 99mg in the past (have to get an EKG to go past 100) and now that im at a different clinic they started me at 40 and are only taking me to 60 by 5 a day! I took 50 yesterday and have felt like shit all night. No sleep for me. I've been counting down the hours til 5 o' clock when im walkin out my door to get there by 5:30. I need to talk to the doc and tell him ineed to be taken up faster and higher. My clinic charges 13.50 a day. I have no idea where they got that random ass number from. But im getting really discouraged to stay clean when i know im gonna be sick within a few hours after dosing. Whatev, 13 minutes til im outta here. Fuckin finally!
 
Nicole, I'm not sure what clinic you go to or if you're even in Chicagoland area, but for what it's worth, i used to go to one on 1301 s kostner right off Roosevelt. I was in the private program and it was 50 a week. They have the public one too but idk about wait times. Anyway i never dropped clean and they still let anyone go as high as they want. This was in 2011 though.

I had the joy of detoxing in the county from 100mg at 4mg/day. I also did a sub detox in the county this last time. Just so anyone knows, they will give you subs in cook county, but you have to make sure you tell the doc. I hadn't filled my script in 6 weeks so he started me at 6mg and detoxed me 2mg every 5 days. You get to go with the "methadonians" every morning too so it makes your first few weeks fly by. By the way has anyone ever had the county methadone? They have the clear kind and idk if it has more to do with your situation, but it seems so much more potent. I swear i nodded until i got under like 40mgs and i never used to nod from the clinic.

If you say you detoxed from the other clinic Nicole, then why are you having trouble stabilizing? Was it a rapid detox our did you relapse or something? Just wondering...
 
What's up crew awesome story's Man U had some luck on your side goodtimes. Man I hate idol time. I heard they don't treat heroin addicts in cool county? If they do that's cool and rocknroll get off methadone I tried to kick it 4 times finally did took subs once for a week with very minimal withdrawal. Was a wonder drug. The hard part was waiting to take it unlike methadone. Man I love downers and never tried rocks but have done coke and meth and much rather be mellow...
 
Yes they have a specific form for you to fill out with your clinics info when you get processed. As long as your clinic verifies you're a patient you'll get dosed in the county. Sometimes next day if you're lucky. They immediately detox you though. They try to get you out of there anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks IME.

I saw a guy there i kid you not he was on over 400mgs and he was a fairly young kid. He was this big fat Mexican with one of those shag hair cuts where they shave there whole head and have like the very bottom of the back long. They were detoxing him 10mgs/day too. I can't imagine how sick he was when he finished.
 
Even if you're not in a methadone program and you tell then you're dope sick they give you a little care package that has a little belladonna/phenobarbitol pill, a couple imodium, and 2 others i don't remember. I know they don't do anything for you in will county though. A girl i know was just there recently.

I heard in new York at rikers island i think it's called they will keep you on methadone if you come in dope sick even if you're not in a program. Idk how true that is though.
