Out of curiosity, why do you use so much water when you cook your dope greenline? I've never really copped in that area. I mean I have, just infrequently. In my opinion the spots right off the highway like that don't have the best dope. There's like 3 areas that I can think of that I would go out west to cop. First choice is south east of there, the dope always seems to be on point. Second is the ave which I haven't copped from in a really really long time. Third choice would be off the green line which can be hit or miss.

Trainspotting - I live in Evanston and there has always been dope around here, but in my opinion it's usually not the best quality. Theres definitely good dope up north, and I've got somebody who will deliver right to my doorstep but I usually don't feel like waiting so I drive the 3 minutes it takes to get to his place. I haven't done dope in a few days though, feeling good. Had a good weekend though! If you saw my post in the last page, I basically edited out the 'nod spots' a few times and realized I was getting nowhere so I just posted it up. Reading it now I don't know what I wanted to say and it doesn't even really make sense. I think I was trying to say the dope was good.

I liked the Heavy D bags more than I liked the dolphins, but they were both good. The dolphins cooked up really dark.

I used to use a lot of water with the theory that if I started to miss I would only miss with a little bit since the solution was less concentrated using more water. Its better to miss with 10 ml when using 80 since that's just 1/8th of the shot as opposed to missing the same amount with 40 since then you would be missing 1/4 of the shot.

Aye everyone. First post.. Just moved here from Philly. Shit is do different out here. The way you cop, the slang, and especially the dope. So far I don't have anything to complain about except for how much cut is put into these bags! It's crazy.
 
its a bit different here than the east coast but in essence it's the same shit... I wouldn't say any better or worse compared to some of the open air places I've been to while visiting friends in New Jersey and Baltimore.. The open air is just as hot and runs kind of similar.. Mostly I noticed is slang is different and the way the dope is packaged - we call them jabs instead of bundles and also most of the stuff I've seen on the east coast was in like little wax papers with a stamp. You are right though - generally the bag/blow you get is larger but has more dormin in it.. However, it really depends where you go, who you fuck with, etc.

Just like in every major city, you'll end up finding 1-2 ppl that have consistently good shit and are on point and don't have you sitting like a duck..

Also welcome back Chinky - I read some of your posts before I started posting and being active on here.. Atlanta is beautiful. I've only driven through there but that's one place in the US I could see myself living for a while..
 
Hey everyone, I haven't been around for a while because of all the hours at work so I thought I'd drop in and say HI to all my Chicago peoples. And Chinky my man, welcome home brotha. Good to see you're alive and well. was some crazy and funny theories as to where you were including, my personal favorite, that you ran off and moved to some tropical spot like the Caribbean with some chick, lol. I bet you wish that one was true, right?

Anyways, hope everyone else is doing well. NewPhone, I have to disagree with you about dope spots by the e-way. Every spot/PC I've ever used right off the e-way, with the exception of one PC that used way too much cut, always had some pretty fire dope. That's just my experience though. I met my current PC while driving to my old PC, both whom worked on a street that runs parallel along side the e-way. Speaking of my current PC, I took a buddy to meet him for the first time last week, and all the shit I've talked about how consistently fire his dope is, so the time I take a friend to cop, my guys dope is absolutely fucking terrible. The second time in the more than 3 years I've been going to him. The first time was right around new years. But this time I felt like such an asshole cuz I was trying to help out a friend whose PC's stuff had been getting worse and worse so I'm like, "come meet my guy, his stuff is always fire as hell". Well, it wasn't that day. When I called my guy though he said his phone's been ringing nonstop with complaints so he discontinued the batch and would have new stuff in a day or 2 and two days later it was back to it's normal fire self. And when he called me to tell me he got new shit, he told me to bring everything I had left from the old batch and he'd exchange them out for me so that was cool him. He's probably gonna take all the shit ones from the bad batch and give them to someone working the block and get rid of them that way. I'm sure he doesn't wanna get rid of them to his phone customers
 
I havent had to deal w the WS bullshit in quite some time and i am thankful for that.

I remember one time I was waiting near a pretty popular spot in an alley right off the eway (I know real fucken specific... but alas the no sourcing rule lol) and there was a group of perhaps 3 dozen people waiting to be served - all of em local people from the west or south side.. This was nothing new to me since I was going just about every morning to do this routine at the time. I was only one of 2 white people waiting there.. Anyway, so we're waiting about 5 minutes and there's like two dude trying to kind of bring some order to the chaotic situation - I.e. form some sort of crude line, make no one standing in the view of the alley, etc. They're trying to keep shit calm explain the peoples will be right out... So after about 5-7 minutes of waiting 3 dudes pop out, all like in their teens/late teens and start serving people. One guy had dubs and the other two had saws and they were trying to get rid of all the saws first. I got served almost immediately (I'm guessing since I'm white and they probably wanted me to get out asap - this actually happened quite a few times where I'll be in a spot and theres tons of people but I'll get served first or one of the first). Anyway, I start walking back and I hear 'POLICE!' being yelled from behind me.. Apparently two of the black dudes pretending to be a junkie flipped out his badge and chased the people serving upstairs and tried to get them to open the door to the apartment - I'm guessing they were either keeping the cash there or the dope once it was already mixed... I ran back to my car and was surprised as fuck that there was no backup or anything or at least none that I could see around me... This was the 'clear black bag' spot btw and this in like July 2013. I know that spot has been on and off since then but a block away is the dollar sign spot and it's been operational for a loooong time but it seems gradually the quality has kind of diminished.. I haven't been back to the WS for a bit as I have a couple pretty good pc's locally and going from the northern burbs to the west side is like a 3 hour excursion.. I always plan on making the trip and copping a few jabs but then end up calling my pc instead anyway so I get it quicker and can hence get high quicker lol
 
Hey what's up everybody? Ive been a long time lurker sinced I joined back in '08. Nowadays I usually only shop with a few pc's. One whom I've been using for the past 5 years or so. Always been on point with his product. I usually meet him right off the eway or a certain blue line stop. So, this friday I decide to make the journey out there. I go on train-el-foot when I go out there. So kinda time consuming for sure, but I prefer it over a car any day. This time he says can he meet me closer cause he will have a car in a safer neighborhood too. I was excited of course because I hate walking in his neighborhood even though its only a 15 minute walk from the blue line stop. Anyways so I get to the desired meet up location and after about 30-35 min someone is his crew whom I've seen many times shows up(figures) and n chatted with him for a sec tellin him how he's cool and always on point. Well as I'm walking away I see him driving all weird slamming the breaks going forward then back. So I walk back to his car and yes like here sorry didn't want to short you I only brought x amount. I'm like damn thanks bro good looking. I got the navy blue colored dolphin bags, that are sometimes wrapped with those little black hair rubber bands. They Dec size with a white color(slightly off white) with a strong vinager smell. I would say 8 or 9 out of 10. I was surprised look liked there was a lot of cut. So, the next day I went back and of course they have no car so I meet them in the hood in the ally of there block. These bags were same navy blue dolphins. The product was very dark brownish with a yellowish tint. Had a very strong odor. The bags were Dec size not too big not to small. I'd rate them 7 out of 10. That's was my story from the weekend. I'm going to start posting more from now on. Hope everyone had a safe dreaammy weekend :)
 
Yeah, I preffer copping on foot too. You don't have to worry about the car being inpounded. Or at least have the option of copping on foot as some dudes won't serve on foot. It has it's drawbacks but overall, in my opinion, the benefit outweighs the obvious risks.
Depends if you are a trustfund baby and can come up with the fine to keep getting your car out go right ahead... I'm not.
 
As for copping on foot I always have preferred it. I just feel on foot if you look the part you don't stick out as much. Seems like the cops rather bust someone from the burbs in a car getting two packs rather than some one on foot with two bags. But I guess all that is irrelevant because the cops can get ya anytime anywhere. What does everyone prefer foot or car? Shoot part of the rush for me is the process of getting it, being in Chicago and seeing our beautiful huge city. I love it!!
 
I've never really copped on foot since the access to public trans where I live kind of sucks and it would be quite a bitch to take the train... Usually I drive and I feel relatively safe since I have tinted windows and my car doesn't really stand out all that much.. Plus I'll usually throw on a hoodie to kind of hide my whiteness lol. However, I do always worry that some cop is going to see me pull out of a residential area onto a main street and run my plates or something and then it's game over.. at least if I'm copping out west..
Lately I've been copping in pretty good areas on the north side or having it delivered so that doesn't really make me worry as much
 
Hi MBM, welcome to the thread, I see you've been a member since '08 so it's about fucking time you started posting. lol j/k Me personally, I like copping in my car so I'm in and out. I'm by no means a "trust fund" baby, but I do have a good job and make good money, not that I want to spend it on impound fees. But I also have a PC that I've been using for a few years now and he meets me outside the "hood" so I feel a bit safer in terms of the jump out boys nabbing me and taking my car. If I did have to go deeper into the west side to cold cop then I'd probably go on foot. Back a few years ago when I did cold cop a few times in my car it was hard to even get served cuz the d-boys would call me a cop. But back then I didn't know the W.S. like I do now so going on foot scared me too much
 
I prefer copping on foot. Just less of a chance cops will funk w u. I glue my face to my phone during intersections thinking I'm inconspicuous.
