G88, you seem to know so much about heroin and life in general, it's hard to believe that you ever do dope, considering how much of a better person you are than everyone else. All you ever talk about is how people are losers because of doing dope, yet why do you post here? Do you do dope or do you just like to talk shit to/about people that do?
 
Kc, first off congratulations on 7 and a half months of sobriety, that's awesome! Do you hit any AA/NA meetings? Yes, I live in the Chicago 'burbs. How was Haymarket? Did you do 28 days or just detox? I'm thinking about going to a 28 day program, but my insurance won't cover most of them anymore, so I need to find one with a sliding scale. Was Haymarket sliding scale payment wise? Sorry if I am asking too many questions, I'm just very curious. Thanks.

I live in the northwest suburbs too. I went for detox and 28 days and then I went to a Recovery House, of all places, in South Austin neighborhood. It was a great place for recovery though.

And I didn't pay a dime for Haymarket. I just showed up. They get grants and stuff to pay for everyone. I think I did say I was homeless though, which was true cause my parents said I had to leave their house when they found out I was using again.

I do go to AA meetings. I used to do NA the last couple times I tried treatment, but at this recovery home, we went to all AA meetings, and I got an AA sponsor, so I continued that out here.

Lay off g88, its obvious its probably some 14 year old kid with some sort of impairment that leads to a lack of social life. If he needs to get on a message board to tell us how junkie we are, whatever. It's sad really that that's what get your rocks off. maybe you should try to masturbate? I say just ignore him, if he needs to be so much cooler then us junkies (I do say that with love) let it be.

Well, i haven't shot up since 515 pm after work so I'm kinda needin it plus i like the night shot because I won't be sick once my feet hit the floor when i get outta bed in the morning. Just like to chill at night, get high and listen to music. Quick question for anyone who can help, kinda dumb so don't laugh. Is the saline solution people use for contact lenses the same saline solution given out at needle exchanges and such (for shots) ? Thanks

he doesn't have to worry about their record, I got caught with 6 bags back in 2005 and i got drug school, completed it, and theres no dope on my record.
 
i wouldnt want to waste my high by falling asleep but you say you do it for other reasons
 
can any1 report their bags today im curious how shits looking now that its the 1st of the month (some better quality shit?)... still trying 2 get a fucking ride ..

Nukka I dunno I'm normally goin to bed around. 2-3am so if I where to get high at 1 it would be kinda wasteful cause I wouldn't be awake to enjoy the high..that's why.


But I understand what leelee was saying
 
Everyone's favorite Chicago heroin shit talker G88 got the boot....I'm going to miss all of his insightful and well thought out comments and all the great advice he gave people!
