Last night I came off the main stage of a 40mg first of adderall and experienced some minor chest tightness and discomfort. I had about 1000 calories in the past 2 days because of the hunger curve though and do to a rigorous schedule have had low sleep a well. By no means was it s serious feeling, hut I want to know if it justifies a trip to the doctor or at least a break, or if starting my meds back up just caused the hunger curfew to hit me a little harder than usual.

I mean it's nothing to freak out about necessarily, chest tightness is a common side effect with amphetamine. I used to never get it but then I developed it and it's such an uncomfortable feeling for me that induces such an irrational fear of a heart attack (which increases the tightness) that I can't use amphetamines anymore.
The first time it happened the tightness lasted for two days, I was flipping out, turned out it was an anxiety attack. My chest got tight on the amphetamine because for whatever reason the dose I took hit me three times harder than it should have and I was uncomfortably high, and my worry about my heart was enough to keep my heart beating funny for two days.

This is why I like to take benzo's with my amps. And it's not heart attacks that freak me out as much as strokes, but benzo's take away the anxiety I have on amps which totally ruin it.
