Hello, New here and hope I am in the right place. I know newbies can be annoying but you have to start some where. Anyhoo, my husband and I are both on suboxone after many years of doing just about everything under the sun.(appx. 6 years on suboxone 8mg/2mg) he has hurt his back and knee. He has been put on roxys and sometimes he will crush them and snort so it kills the pain faster.
Seen pain mgt. doc today and he got a few trigger shots. One I was wondering how long will this take to work(shots) and also he is dying to get back on the suboxone. He's beginning to go into withdrawal now and I'm wondering if he should wait until he is in serious withdrawal. 2-3 days...or go a head and take the suboxone now. He is telling me that if he does take suboxone now it would send him in to MAJOR withdrawal. I don't think it will. One, his intake on the roxys/percs is about 70-100 mg a day. 10mg doses at a time and its only been a week taking the pain meds. Not sure what to do.
Any advice, info, would be so appreciated. Lost in Lakeland??????????????????????????
