Everyone probably noticed some changes to the forum index.
I was comparing some numbers from January-February 2004 to measurements made back in 2002. The overall rate of posting in the forums has gone up 35%. The fastest growing area of Bluelight is the "Drug Discussion" category (120% more posts each day). "Regional Discussion" and "Events" had shrunk about 22% during this time, which gently suggested it was time to try something new and that is why things are now divided up by continents.
Nothing ever satisfies 100% of the people but hopefully this makes some sense!
- No changes to "Important" category.
- No changes to "Drug Discussion" category.
- No changes to "Question & Answer" category.
- The "Community" category is now visible to unregistered lurkers!
- The "Arts" category is now visible to unregistered lurkers!
- The "Regional Discussion" and "Events" categories have been abandoned in favor of dividing things up by continents: Australia & Asia, Europe & Africa and North America & South America.
- No changes to "Bluelight Feedback" category.
- The "Bluelight History" category has been consolidated somewhat by putting nine old forums inside of "Closed Forums" arranged as sub-forums.
