I'm a very anxious person and I receive 90 2mg Xanax a month. They really help me I can't function in society without them. I just got put on 90 bars from 90 1mg xannies in January. I work from 5am-5:30pm and the three work fine but don't last long enough. I also hate Klonopin and other benzos because they make me tired.

I'm hoping the doctor will be nice enough to raise my amount to 4 bars a day.

Assuming he does, and I receive a new script for 120 bars will the pharmacy fill them early? I got the last ones filled on the 25th of last month. So, really it's just six days early anyways.

Will they fill them early with a handwritten hard copy of the script with a changed about or no? I've always been led to believe they would.

I pray he raises my amount and that they do fill early.

Also, anyone else deal with this 31 day shit? They make me wait till the 31st day until all my meds are gone to fill them. It used to be 30 days and I could actually get them a day early on the 29th? I'm in SC and they do the same to my brother in law. I think it's bullshit!

Does anyone know the answer to my question?

Thanks

That is way too much alprazolam to be taking daily. If you ever run out of your prescription you are going to be in for some bad possible lethal withdrawals.

Depends on the pharmacy/pharmacist. I had my Norco upped to 6 times a day from 4 and it was 9 days early from when I would have run out of the four a day. The pharmacist did fill it (I believe the reason he allowed it was he took my last fill and calculated it at the new dose frequency and it came up that I would have been out) but the insurance wouldn't pay for it. My wife also had a dose increase to 3 times a day from twice a day and the same pharmacist WOULD NOT fill hers though. The DEA has been cracking down on pharmacies regarding controlled substances and the pharmacist stated he wouldn't fill it because it was too early and he'd been getting a lot of flack from the DEA. So basically we had to wait a few days until he would fill it.

As far as the 31 day crap is this an insurance policy issue or the pharmacy themselves refusing? I just filled my script today on the 29th day here in SoCal with no issues at a small non franchise pharmacy I use. I think this mainly is based on state law, insurance policies, or pharmacy policies. Pharmacies tend to vary. Some will allow a 3 day grace period while others are super strict and want it to be literally after you've run out.

P.S. That is a lot of Xanny bro, be careful.
