Hello,

i take since one year Quetipine for my anxiety disorder every evening 300mg. It helps me well, but one point i dont understand. After i take my dailys dose of Quetiapine, 2 hours later i have mild closed eye hallucinations. I see very disturbing things, pictures and scenes about random combination of everything. When i take a higher dose, like 800mg, the CEV's are much more cleaner and more random disturbing. When i close my eye, i see things very clear like in open eyes. Why this happens? I remember, that i have similar CEV's when i was taken a Antihistamine. So are the CEV a result of Histamine-receptor antagonism? Or mACH-antagonism? To both i dont find anything about cev. And i dont think that the effect on 5-ht- and D-receptor play a role for this. What you think?

Sounds like anticholinergic syndrome. Perhap its secondary metabolite is stronger antimuscarinic.

Are you on your phone or computer put your face like as close as possible to the screen and see if u can still read. Anticholinergics tend to make it hard to see up close. If you od on cholinergics like nicotine I find it hard to read far away the opposite
