I still thought my meme w/ the lyrics from this was pretty witty. I'll try to make some of my own later but I thought that one was the best.

you know how super-militant I am on the 2nd amendment and all and as much as I'm slamming Moscow Mitch for his inability to put the gun legislation forward and what not I kind of seriously hope it doesn't go through.

Every bullet has a 50/50 odds of killing you. It doesn't matter what gun fires it. If people were really going for maximal deaths they'd be using bombs at huge areas of transit, etc and not guns. These are people with mental health issues who act out after having the guns a long time. It's better to address mental health on a national basis which I think DJT had at least a weak way of doing it "open the clinics again". If it's an out-patient thing that just funnels me the drugs I need for free then, fuck yeah! Tell me more DJT what are you planning.

Why's the onus on me to provide proof when the original post was just an unsourced meme?

The onus is generally on the one making the original assertion.

In the modern world today, proof and evidence is irrelivent anyway. The few people who are actually interested in truth, will look for it on their own, and those that aren't will disregard any evidence they don't want to believe.

It's gotten to the point where there's no universal agreement on how to even determine what is and isn't evidence. Lies have been weaponized to a degree never previously thought possible.

Which is why I really don't take any of this very seriously anymore. Sure I make my snide comments here and there, but I only put in as much effort as I feel like, theres no point in going the extra mile anymore sadly. Not without consensus on what's considered acceptable evidence to begin with.
