To your credit at least you're not unnecessarily censoring me anymore and removing my posts, so even though I disagree with you on almost everything I appreciate that.
8chan/4chan have many sub-boards where they discuss all types of things. Anyone that wants to shut down 8chan doesn't understand the censorship that's being pushed at the moment. Some people agree with it because it's only going after their political opponents, but eventually those same apparatuses will be used against them.
Like for eg, the El Paso shooter posted his manifesto on Instagram - is anyone saying "Shut down Instagram, it's a platform for hate speech"?
Someone on 8chan took the manifesto from IG and posted it on 8chan so that they could discuss it - yet people will lie and say the shooter posted in on 8chan blah blah

I saw the eclipse and I am not a Trump fan by they way, as you will note by my other post. I am simply tuning into the Trump base mindset and embracing the absurd. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I gotta make some money for the coming apocalypse brah....

Yeah I agree, shutting down a communication outlet because someone used it for bad purposes is unfair. I mean sure, if it's a site called "whitenationalistmurdermanifesto.com", I'd feel differently about that particular scenario.

Both parties do gerrymandering, that's been covered.
Iirc voting has typically been done on workdays. Presidential voting was done on Tuesday or Thursday recently. Employers (are required to?) allow folks to flex time or whatever in order to exercise their right to vote. Yeah, it's a hassle, but it's the same for everyone, regardless of political affiliation. That is, unless we want to stereotype Reps as hard working white collars and Dems as welfare folks with all kinds of time while they sit at home unemployed....but I don't think that's true or useful to consider.
