if you want to argue against humans being the primary cause of climate change, that's OK and I'm all ears to the 12% (we can't know everything for sure or we'd have already dug ourselves out of this shithole). But global warming is real.

Excellent point. I didn't catch that the person on the right said it was all a hoax, but certainly a good point as you noticed. Personally, I would think anyone denying climate change puts themselves in an undefendable position. The discussion is how much humans have an impact, both in getting us to this point and in correcting our direction. I'm with ya.

If we aren't the sole cause of global warming, are we just going to let it happen or we going to do something about it. etc?

They've already determined the most affordable solution is to reforest the earth, namely there is enough land in JUST US and China (2 biggest emitters) and it would establish a lot of amazing reserves/forests, etc. Youngest trees absorb more CO2 from the atmosphere, etc. than older ones. Makes a lot of sense and is the most cost efficient solution.
