Hahaha. Yeah I agree..yes it does have a ceiling effect.
everyone seems to be different with rates of thc absorbtion and processing.
doesnt really matter on potency, as with the higher potencies you tend to fall asleep before you can reach it (depending on method of consumption)
however with edibles its VERY difficult to even discover any kind of ceiling effect as if you consume too much you usually -
A= barf it up after "spinning out"
or
B= fall asleep and wake up a day and a half later, still high til the day after that.
perhaps if one were to have a variety of strains on hand, you could simply switch strains every few hours to combat this, who knows...
enjoy finding out though!
let me know how it goes if you try it :D
(not very scientific as you most likely would forget what you set out to do halfway through!)

QFT^Sure, but that's pretty uncommon. I eat a lot of edibles and have tripped on several substances and a slice brownie will still put me on my ass...

It's not uncommon at all for people whose ROA is eating cannabis. If you eat a brownie five times a day, everyday, then you are going to build tolerance.
Well, I mean, I guess that is obvious... I was assuming normal use, and 5 edibles a day simply is not. If you are only eating, I suppose you'll notice a ceiling, though I can't claim to ever have come close enough to finding one, that's just to much use for me personally.
Lets be honest, if you are eating that much a day, you should probably cut backAssuming recreational purposes, of course. Maybe that was my wrong assumption.
