Finals are in 2 weeks, once im done with this semester I have 2 more upper division classes I need to take and 2 more of whatever I want. Basically after these finals it is going to be a cakewalk, so realistically right now is the final stretch as far as difficult college classes before I graduate. Best case scenario I get 4 A's and a B. Worst case I get 2 A's 2B's and a C. Realistically ill probably end up somewhere in between, but either way thats not bad considering Ive been working 35 hour weeks the whole semester. My GPA will either go up or remain about the same, its currently at 3.4

Its pretty overwhelming at the moment, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Also, I will be going on a week long snowboarding trip to Telluride Colorado this winter break with a couple friends, which I am incredibly excited about.

Also, it looks like ill be getting a promotion at work. Ill be working in the nursery at a big home improvement store. Its so chill compared to what I was doing before and $2.50 and hour more, which is the most money ive ever made at a regular job.

alasdair

I wasn't planning on it again, but this has nothing to do with freedom Mr. Disconnect. I just said it was shitty, and that forum has the freedom to be shitty. Last time I checked, not being cool wasn't against the law, so more power to you guyz!

well, if you're posting on bl you prolly are a freedom-hating commie.
/lol jk.

I have a fun festivus idea, i'll get the ball rolling...
Hi, I'm bmxxx, and i'm a capitalist. What do you identify as?

/very curious what some of you woudl call yourselves :]

"Capitalist" is such a general term, basically the only thing you can get from that is that you like free markets in one form or another. In order to get a real gauge on someones political ideology you must measure both the social and economic ideologies.

On the economic side I am socialist capitalist, meaning that I want free markets, but I also want a heavy handed government to step in to address market failures when necessary. I am pro-union, especially in the private sector. I think that government should do more to incentivise private business to keep production local and discourage outsourcing. While private business having a voice in government is important, there needs to be some sort of way to curb their influence between elections.

On the social side I am a liberal. I support early abortion, gay marriage, handgun control ect. I am against having such a costly military and favor small, elite forces and automation of warfare. I would drastically increase our foreign aid contribution with some of the money saved by downsizing the military. I am for social programs, but people must be required to work for the government after a certain time period on a program. I am for a progressive tax that raises sharply on the top couple percent of earners.

hi i'm lefty and i am a jaded, "critical dismantlist"*. i strive for massive systems change but not in any direct and self defeating way. if capitalism is the wilderness and anarchy is evolved humanity, "critical dismantlism" is the missing link.

i am jaded by the political song and dance in which a say is considered the be all and end all to social responsibility. you can't reach social unity through combative, competitive, adversarial and antagonistic approaches.

burn all borders. fuck your national pride, you did nothing to earn it.

* a term i just made up
