CCC's: CPM in red coating?

I've been hearing a lot of this lately, rinse off the read coating and you're left with pure dxm. Is this true?
 
Absolutely not. The red coating is just a candy-like coating that holds the pill together. Inside is the CPM, acetaminophen, and DXM. Short of a complex chemical extraction, you will not separate the CPM from the DXM.
 
Why not just get a DXM-only product?

I don't get why people fuck with CCC. When there's like tons of other products that you could take that only contain DXM
 
Because if they are like I was when I was a kid they don't even know they're taking DXM, for the most part... just "triple Cs" (obviously not the OP). I really don't get it. They're more watched and they're way worse for you and they're on the expensive side too. SO many better options. Almost any form of OTC with DXM is safer than Coricidin.

Yeah that was pretty much my experience as a young teen. Everyone just considered "Coricidin" to be the drug they were taking. But nobody ever paid for the pills. The world needs more BL
 
From my personal experience if I took lets say 4 tripC's I would start puking blood.
But if I rinse off the "red coating" i will be left with an inner white shell holding only white powder.
Now technically thinking, if I take these I would puke blood like before right?
Wrong, when I tested this theory I was able to take a full 16 tripC dose after rinsing off the red coating.
From what I'm thinking at least the new "Cough&Cold"(nolonger CCC) I can rinse off the antihistamine from this.
And I will be honest, I learned this method from a post by a pharmacist here in BL in 2001.
Just scan through archives, you will get a really deep explained method.
But as for this being true or not, I don't know exactly.
But I can take tripC's again without having to worry about what else is inside them (;
 
But why? That is the question. :) There are SO many other options that you don't even have to worry about that at all with.

I don't worry about it, not with CCC's not with anything
I personally don't recommend tripC's to anyone
But since it works for me and the dxm appears to be clean
and theres only two active ingredients in the ones around here
DXM and an antihistamine
I'm pretty sure it wipes that off since I can't even take a dose of 40mg of that antihistamine without a mouthful of blood behind it.
 
there's so many other explanations behind the wash coating>>>no puking blood thing, though. i think the idea that you're getting rid of the CPM is just wishful thinking, dude...
 
I don't understand people that take these kind of unnecessary risks, yeah a lot of us go out of our way to experience altered states, but why use a method so well known as dangerous when there are many others just as easily available. Honestly I think there's no excuse for it.
 
I wanted to shed light on the topic, the gel capsules give me some stomach load and the ccc's without cpm would be better. They don't have all that liquid and and they have twice as much dxm. I know its stupid to take unnecessary risks with this shit.
 
Use Zicam Cough Max. It's a spray bottle, take off the top and take it like a shot. Taste terrible but it's the most direct way I've come across to use DXM besides pure DXM Hbr powder.
 
yeah i`ve heard of and noticed that happening a lot, particularly in small towns. while visiting my friend once i bought zicams at his local walgreens. the cashier mentioned that there`s one guy who buys the stuff all the time and the pharmacists were watching him (thinking he might be using it to make meth, haha). since then that store quit selling it... and the only other place in town that had it was meijer. however, the summer before we literally bought them out of zicam over a 10 day period (three of us tripping and having a week or so of pure hedonism... not recommended, my friend went insane and was convinced he could convince nasa to make him an astronaut... so we told him to call nasa. he called them shit you not). since that summer they quit selling zicam there too. so yeah keep a low profile and don`t buy the stuff too often if you live in a small town...

They don't seem to give a shit around here... Both Zicam and CCC are OTC at my local grocery story and Walgreens - they are behind the counter just about everywhere else. It was funny. I was looking for Miralax and noticed that the Corricidin was fully stocked - a good 20 boxes of each kind - but the DXM/CPM CCC was completely sold out.
 
well the friend that i'm talking about would buy like 6 a week sometimes, several weeks in a row. probably a little more suspicious than most.
