Its a new thing
to have you not worship me
to be on the same level with you
I enjoy the respect that underlines our aquaintance
You, unlike the others,
are less persistent, less obsessive,
and it keeps me alert
as it makes me work a little for your attention

Which is why our casual aquaintance
could never develop into anything more
