Hi, I take Carisoprodol 500mg (Soma) since mid of January in a daily basis due chronic pain I have since 10 years ago. I'm trying to get off of it, after a fast gradual reduction of one and half week, and the last Tuesday was my last dose, till Friday, when I have a pain peak and I needed to took 500mg, in two doses during a few hours.
Since then I didn't take, and I have a lot of pain, is really difficult even movement, nausea, tremors, chills, sudoration, and a HUGE anxiety. Luck for me I have a lot of meds to can sleep and huge anxiety, like fluoalprazolam, flunitrazolam, mirtazapine, a little bit of levomepromazine, mirtazapine, trazodone, clorazepate...
I took all type of meds to it: muscle relaxant, light opiates like codeine and tramadol, a lot of ADs, gabapentin, pregabalin, during 4 years heavy opiates like morphine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, massive doses of fentanyl (patch of 100mcg/h and fentanyl lollipops (Actiq) of 1600mcg, 4-6 per day, all of this under medical prescription, between 2012-2015, and a lot of treatments with combos of multiple meds.
After a detox I took Suboxone for 7 months, till I could get off with kratom, which I took during one year and half without any kind of opiates, till the tolerance reach the roof. My chronic pain started in neck and shoulders, but since the few last months of 2016 I started to feel pain in arms and legs too, and during this last 4 years the pain is worst than before, like the evolution of it during 10 years.
Now I'm taking methadone since march of the last year, after a few months taking strong opiates by my own, and snorted and smoked heroin for relief the pain (I started on methadone with 30mg, I reach 90mg on October, and now I'm in 70mg), because doctors only prescribe me diazepam 10mg (which I take it since 2012 due anxiety and muscle rigidity), baclofen 25mg, I need to take 2 at least for feel a notable relief and lormetazepam to sleep, and pregabalin for 4th or 5th time I take it, for anxiety and, "theorically" helps with pain, but not in my case at least.
And after tell my history or some part, to all of you have the major information possible for an answer: what med I can take for this pain?? Helpful meds to carisoprodol withdrawal? How many days I have to expect to stop of be in this awful state?
