car accident question

Hi I was in my friend's car the other day and somebody nailed us head on and it was a decent crash... my friend had broke a rib and was prescribed some muscle relaxers... my lower back is hurting me a little bit but not enough pain to go to the doctors... I was wondering is there a way I could fake that it hurts more so I could get painkillers... and if so what would they prescribe me ?? how would i go about doing this ??
 
Dude, you got in a friggin' car crash. This couldn't be easier.
Call the doctor, say you got in a car wreck. You're in crippling pain.. lower back and neck.. you've called into work and thought it would go away but it's not hurting any less. Say it's difficult to move, you're stiff, and just exaggerate any symptoms you already have. Bingo.
And definantly go to a different doctor than your friend if he only scored muscle relaxers.

It's called soft tissue damage... x-rays show bones- and bits of ligament/tendon tissue... muscle achess, joint pain... hard to rule out with x-rays. Plus, they're just not going to pursue it all that far.

Alright, this just happened to me - I was driving in stop-n-go traffic yesterday when someone slammed into me.. a wave of wonderous joy swept over me.. I have been waiting for YEARS for such a thing to happe and it finally did.. the other guy was driving a 2001 Mercedes, not sure of the model but it was one of the nicest models... well, my car is like a tank - I broke my tail lights, scrapped my bumper, and that about it... I could go to a junkyard and probably fix it all for about $100 ... well, I was not letting this slip through my fingers ..
Today I went to the hospital because my neck actually hurt, of course I *embellished* a little but sure enough, I had sprained my neck .. so I now have a nifty neck brace and of course I really enforced my tollerance (I busted out with about 4 currenct narcotic script bottles) .. so it was 100mg Demerol and 20 15mg OxyIR caps ..
Things are looking GREAT! The other guys insurance company is sending me a check for almost $750 for "personal injury" .. I could have probably got more but I don't have enough pain to really risk it... they will also repair my car ...
ANYWAY .. do you have a police report? If so, thats the golden ticket.. go to the hospital flashing that baby and tell yer story, then complain of pain in your NECK, BACK, NUMBNESS IN YOUR LEG, HEADACHES, and STIFFNESS IN YOUR JOINTS .. they will take a bunch of X-Rays and maybe even an MRI, but REGARDLESS of what they find you're going to get something... you REALLY gotta make yourself sound like yer 2 breaths away from death, cry if you can, curl up into a little ball screaming "PLEASE GIVE ME SOMETHING FOR THIS PAIN" ... trust me, yer gunna at least get a shot and some hydrocodone to take home or something to that extent..
