Hey all…
BL has provided me with some priceless advice throughout the years, and I figured it was about time I properly joined the community. I can't wait to interact with y'all and hopefully help some folks out …

I have had many many years of experience with just about every drug there is… the good times and the bad times. I'm a recovering opioid/heroin/benzo addict (primarily).
Somewhat "undercover" for much of the worst of it. (That is exhausting)

It gets really tough for me at times (well, just about all the time tbh). So I hope to give and receive helpful knowledge. I don't have anyone to talk to about it.

P.s I maintain most of my sanity by taking kratom daily… I know it is somewhat addictive… but it beats the hell out where I was at…and certainly methadone or sub maintenance IME that's for sure.

I have had a love hate relationship with opiates for a very very long time. It seemed to cure my lonely/anxious/fatigued feelings and let me be "me". Of course this type of self medication went terribly wrong. So I'm struggling with my emotions lately and trying to learn how to deal with my problems without serious opioids… because this science experiment does not end well… as many of you probably know all too well.

Cheers from canada

Hi,
Welcome to the site! ! I am also a recovering Heroin, opiate, once benzo addict. Great to have you here - please don't hesitate to ask me any questions about the site. :)

Greetings!

Your story basically hits mine head on. Long time lurker, new member., have been on/off of opiates for years. Love em' and hate em'. Cool that Kratom is working for you! After relapsing from subs, it won't fully take away withdrawals anymore, so I might look into that.

Welcome me to the forum!

Thanks for the warm welcome Smokey and opium.prince! Nice to hear there are people out there that can relate. I think it is really important to talk it out… i tend to bottle it up and that just makes things worse. opium.prince I find that every time I would relaps the withdrawals would get much longer and worse. Subs wouldn't quite do the trick for me anymore.
Are you new here?
Cheers
