Can't Search or Edit Profile

My title says it all. Can't do either. I type what I want to search click enter or search and what I typed in disappears. Same thing for my profile, I enter the info click save and it's gone. I also get kicked off about every 5 minutes and have to sign in again. Any help is appreciated. I've tried 2 different browsers to see if that is it and anything I can think of at the moment but I'm sure there is something I'm not thinking of. Thank you!!!
 
Click the "remember me" box when you sign in.

When you search, use the box on the top right instead of the search box in the center of the page. The one in the center doesn't work, but the one on the top right woks just fine.

As for editing your profile, it might not have saved because you have already been logged off before saving it. Try doing it again after you choose the "remember me" option when logging on.
