can't remember my lsd trip?

On new years I did lsd for the first time. The day after I found I had very little memory of what went on. The next morning all I could remember was the guy who sold me it using a eye dropper to squeeze out a drop and it landing on my tongue then basicly my memory of what happend seemed to cut out until around 6 hours later when I started to come down.
However as time went on my friends that I were with that night filled me in on what went on and I would remember almost images of what happened.

Is this normal? Is their a good chance it will happen to me if I use again? Did I have to much most likely?

dunno mate, my trips are pretty much embedded into my memory, well the more interesting ones are anyways

Did you use anything else besides LSD? Any other drugs or medication perhaps?

Do you know anything about the dosage, was it very high dose liquid acid? I have had very high dosed trips that made me go on a dream-like journey through memories very far in the past, and also some memories of things that never happened but still felt like they were related to things in my childhood, I had that very interesting deja-vu like feeling.
But it was hard to recollect a lot of it afterwards.

I guess try again with a more modest subtle dosage.

I agree with Solipsis.
In some of my trips with higher dosages, I've had very deep experiences but somehow I remeber them like I would remember a dream... With some gaps and weird memory tricks. However, in my experience I had never heard of complete gaps of 6 hours like 34tuforlunch mentions.

I recommend you to try again, this time with blotter LSD (as it's easier to know that you're taking a low dosage on paper)
