Benzos Can't feel 50MG Diazepam anymore?

Hi everyone, I am prescribed 22.5MG diazepam a day but have reduced to 5MG over a long time. Due to this I have lots of spare tablets, and do enjoy a benzo buzz.

However, today I took 50MG along with my 5MG diazepam, and have waited for around an hour, but can not feel anything like I used to be able too on benzos.

I did have a very high tolerance around about 2 years ago, I could take 4 2MG bars of Xanax for a nice buzz, but where that was a long time ago and I have reduced I didn't imagine it would effect the effects now.

I would just like to be able to have a nice mellow benzo buzz again, so is there any tips to get the magic back when it comes to benzos? Especially diazepam as I have around 20 full boxes that are just sitting there spare (32x5MG tablets each box).

Any help would be much appreciated!

Ya developed a tolerance,imo/e.
Talk to doc and titrate to a more suitable dosage is my recommendation.
Best to ya!

Some in here might not suggest this, but to totally get off of Benzos, I took 50MG of Tianeptine Sulfate 3 times per day, and have stayed on it. I was on Clonezepam 2MG per day 3 times per day for 10 years, and they totally made me go off of it without very little tapering. I was actually buying Benzos off the street to keep from going into horrible withdrawals. The Tianeptine stabilized me, so it must have some effect on GABA like Benzos do. I have read that it does, but getting information on this medication is hard to find. I swear that it effects GABA and might be a better long-term option for you, but to get it at higher doses, you'd have to buy from a trusted vendor. Sorry. I guess this was a bit off subject.

Ya taper if ya can just take a little less once in a while it becomes habit, ime.
Love the comfort that bnz provide me but they do seem to turn me into a zombie (not really)... I truly believe in long term use in certain cases but as with everything there are some sacrifices. We have to make that/those decisions
What works for one may not come to the same cause for another.
so is there any tips to get the magic back when it comes to benzos?
The only.way I know is to lower intake for a minute or two. But slowly if thinking about tapering, yeah?
I think they call it a tolerance break or something, IDK.
I have to use this method and it works
Sure we wanna be carefree all day but sometimes it leads to overuse or abuse. These can have some tragic outcomes (or not IDK).
Just skip and dose here and there is a good start. The fear of giving up that "disconnect" we fear the worse. It hyped but doable. IME.
It's Xmas eve and I'm on bnzs. Wtfe, right,?
😂
Peace
