if anybody here has experienced this new "illness" related to cannabis, could you share whether you have ever tried spice? and if so, how many times?

it's odd for a new illness to pop up when cannabis has been around for so long. i'm wondering if it could possibly be related to spice.

We have a ton of threads on this -- some users say they experienced symptoms after having used both, but there have certainly been MANY reports from users only using cannabis.

You've got to ask yourself what has changed in this amount of time. Has science? Has the potency? Has the nutes/fert? There seems to be no general consensus on so much of this information that I find myself taking issue against many of the claims most articles have put out. That and the varying degree of it is a bit much. Anyway, I think you could find yourself some answers if you searched around.

Cannabis has been around almost forever, so morning sickness would vary person to person.

I've tried many, many, many different blends of store bought as well as homemade spice. I have never had a problem with them. It could depend on what herbs are used for the blend, though. When I would make my own blends, we would use damiana and marshmallow leaf, this caused us no problems. However store bought blends are always going to use the cheapest herb available. I think this could definitely be a factor.

Herbs used may play a factor, but you'd be startled at what is sometimes found in the prepackaged blends. I know one of the old Spice blends (I think Platinum or something) was using JWH-018 run-off chemicals, basically the leftover byproduct of synth'ing JWH-018. It was found to be highly toxic.

You already don't know exactly what you're getting when you get a pure product, however you know even less when you buy a pre-packaged store blend.

At the start of the year, i woke up one day and could not stop vommiting. I was in the bathroom and decided to take a hot showrr which gave me much relief where the vommiting stopped and i had no nausea. However, as soon as i got out i would continue to vommit, at first i thought maybe i was hungover (day after australia day) but the abdominal pains i experienced were too much and i thought i was going to pass out. I called the ambulanceand all through the trip to the hospital i continued to vommit. I was there till around 1 am the next day, on the iv with many needles, contious vommiting and hot showers. They found nothing in my blood tests, and they ran through everything with me until they asked about my marijuana usage, where i told the doctors how i was smoking around 1g a day for 4 months. They discharged me as the vommiting slowed down and the diagnosed me with canabis hyperemisis sydnrome. That night the vommiting continued, i was up all night and only got around 2 hours sleep where i passed out with a bucket in my hands. I couldnt eat or drink without vommiting so the next day i went back to hospital, i was there for around the same ammount of time the day before with the exact same symptons, disarged again the next morning. Finally i went back to hospital and was in for 3 days, i had sugars and water going into me since i wasnt able to drink or eat, 5% of my liver had stopped working and i was injected with drugs used on skitzophrenic patients to ease the pain and so i could sleep a bit, i had lots of other drugs too, one prescribed to ease vommiting of cancer patients although the only effective relief was a warm shower. The vommiting persisted again for another 2 days after being discharged (i woke up one night in the bathtub). Ive been to hospital many timea and by far this was the worst experience, i couldnt eat, drink, sleep, i had constant nausea and vommited for over a week. One of the major detectors for this syndrome is long term cannibis usage over years of time, but for me i had only smoked on a recreational basis for around 3 years until the 4 month usage. The weed i was smoking was hydro, and i think that i got sick based on the fact the weed was sprayed with many chemicals, also i was using the marijuana so reguarly i wasnt eating right or drinking enough water, or being very motivated and i was sleeping with the smell of weed hotboxing my roon. Also, i have a low imune system and i get sick very easily. I believe these were all contributing factors, and the syndrome only effects some unlucky ones of us :( since being in hospital ive only smoked marijuana around 3 or 4 times a month, and was told by doctors if i was going to smoke, to smoke bush. Also, the syndrome is said to be a withdrawal from the weed but before i went to hospital, the day before i had smoked around a stick. My friend was also smoking the same weed and on the same basis as i was, but she never got sick, my boyfriend also had smoked weed on a daily basis for around 3 years and nothing has happened to him. Its a strange syndrome which i dont think has had much medical research into, and many doctors do not know much about it, also the nurses treat you horribly because you are in there for drugs.
