Im sure this is the right place to post this....


So im currently living in California. I figured it was time to get my cannabis card. Now i dont know where to start. Is there a specific doctor i go to and what should i say what i need my Cannabus Card for? I personally just want to stay out of legal trouble and figured this is the best way to do it.
 
I use a specific doctor, but a lot of people that i know use [a well-known service]??

depending on where you go, they might want more or less from you. my doctor needed some kind of paperwork from me, so i went to my regular doctor first and complained of anxiety issues. he tried to put me on effexor or some shit that i never filled. i brought my progress notes and $200. my doctor asked me what i use cannabis for... was straight up with him about it, told him i use it for stress and anxiety, to stay away from pills as a medicine, and for social reasons.

We aren't able to give referrals to a specific doctor or medical service. But you will find pot-friendly doctor information at the California NORML website.

If you already use marijuana to alleviate a medical condition, your pot doc will surely appreciate your honesty in what that condition is. We won't tell you to feign a condition you don't have simply to obtain marijuana, and a quick Google search is all that's required to see the multitude of conditions for which medical marijuana is of help.

i do have back pain, i have a vaccum strapped to my back about 7 hours a day for work. But i dont know if thats good enough....
