Cannabis + Alcohol (merged)

I never blacked out or had any bad effects from mixing the two. I personally liked smoking when I was pretty drunk so that I would get the spins. I enjoy then. I just close my eyes and ride the spinning feeling. Maybe I'm just a wierdo...

I feel no more hungover from this combo than from straight alcohol.. Perhaps less, as smoking gets me fucked up quicker, and so I end up drinking less.

Took the words right out of my mouth. In fact, the above formula outlines nearly every weekend here at school;)
 
I find that smoking before drinking eliminates spins , and nausia, I also find that smoking after drinking is only good when my alchool buzz is dying down, at which point i sleep better. But everytime I do drink, I always take 2 extra strenght tylonol tabs before bed and it helps every time...

Wow man I wish the spins where an enjoyable feeling for me. I got them today from this combo, and they are always overwhelming. They make me feel extremely uncomfortable and I almost always puke unless it isn't too bad and I can lay down somewhere and keep still for a while.
 
I've learned that almost everyone has different reactions...
From my point, I can smoke before or after alcohol, and I always get a nice "powered" up euphoria+altered physical perception.

But, looking at my friends, I've seen people that after some vodkas and beers just can't smoke because that will make 'em puke...
Moreover 2 of my friends, if smoking after drinking, fall inevitably in a "collapsed" state, where they really can't do a thing, nor move or talk (I think they could, but they simply get no power to do it...).
 
i love the combo. i love alchohol in mass quantity and i love cannabis in mass quantity. i can smoke/drink anyone under the table when only using one drug...however, i combine the two and im set for the night...also saves alotta money
 
Im surprised there wasnt a thread on this already. I think that it depends on so many factors, like what you drink and what type of poop your smoking. Ihavenolegs, hypercloud bring up a good point.

Weed, no matter what kind, generally speeds up metabolism. Maybe it induces the body to absorb more ethanol and throws you into a pseudocoma. Who knows? Ill search medical journals but i doubt theres much on this subject as it is not as common of an overdose problem as say alcohol + coke.

fermentation creates co2 and alcohol, plants eat co2 and sunlight and give back oxygen and sugar then ferment and smoke up and feed the plants some more co2 and do it again. it is the natural way, what we do with the byproducts of the pretty flowers and magical yeasties is up to us. i say worship them as Holy sacrements and revere them. OK YOU GUESSED IT, IVE BEEN DRINK9ING. bUT I BELIVE all that ive said and I know God wants everyone to have his greenhouse right up against his brewery. the co2 cycle is nthe way.
 
beer before weed / weed before beer

ok, can anyone tell me why one is good and the other is bad? no wild assumptions please - post only if you have a good explanation :)
 
weed before beer because ur high off weed won't last as long as the high u get when u drink so when ur burning out u will still have alchohol flowing through ur blood stream
 
don't drink a lot of alchohol when you smoke weed. youll end up throwing up a lot, especially don't drink a lot if you usually passed really quick while drinking because weed can help to you not pass out (depending on the strain) which means you could get alchohol posioning a lot better
 
If I get high while really drunk I'll get the "spins," sometimes I'll end up throwing up. I say either smoke before drinking, or don't get really drunk and just smoke a little...
 
it does mix very well though if both are done in about the same amount depending on tolerance and all that. it takes the not-knowing-anything drunk off your ass and combines it with a relaxing im-looking tunnel-vision high
