Ok, so i have just smoked a strain i'd never tried before (unknown). When i took the first toke i was kinda disappointed, tasted pretty bad, obviously indoor grown, in fact the buds look really thin, aired. Not sativa-thin, but poorly-growned-thin.
Anyway, i smoked about 0.3/0.5 grams (normal dose for me). This is the first joint i had today. What happened is i felt a mild high, but pretty dull for the amount i had smoked, and also for it being pure buds. But 10 whole minutes after lighting it up, which should make about 7 after i finished it (I got this from my computer play list so it's pretty accurate), i felt a super-physical high, although in this case i would say i'm stoned rather than high, cause there's a kinda mindfuck thing going on, not a marihuana happy relaxed headspace, but an almost opiate calm silence inside my head.
This is not the first time i notice this on different weeds i've tried, in fact, it's something that comes by from time to time and i kind of recognize it as soon as it hits me, and laugh at myself for thinking it was a weak smoke..
I attribute this to CBN/CBD rather than THC, cause sativas usually get to your head before the third toke.. I think this plant was really bad treated during growing and drying, which caused the a faster degradation of THC into less euphoric, more relaxing cannabinoids.

Cannabis has different effects on everyone, and I don't think the % of cannabinoids has an effect on the kind of high. The higher the % is, the higher it will get you.

The kind of high will be affected by the type of weed you smoke(Indica/Sativa).

Please clearly state the question in the OP next time - this was a jumble of unneeded information with a common sense title. I'm guessing you were lit when you made this :)

Try the Strain Discussion Thread, that is where you will more likely be able to find out more information about the strain you smoked, and also how percentages of THC/CBNs/CBDs.
