Yeah, I just happened to be visiting Toronto this week. But I will be moving back full-time to the city in September!!

how do we know what everyone looks like? I'm sure I know what I look like. But I have no idea what everyone else looks like. Bring a sign or something.

I can't think of any secluded areas in the guvernment which would be easier for everyone to find. And 11:30 might be kind of early, especially if the line moves really slow.

Look for a tall white guy and an asian girl standing together looking confused. That will be myself and Lu.
 
I think 1:00-1:15 might be better. Sometimes the lineup can move reallly slow, so if someone is running a little late, they might be stuck outside for a bit.


Just to clarify the meeting position. When you walk into the Kool Haus entrance, you will be in a small room with the coatcheck on your right. This is NOT the meeting spot (since you cannot hear the music while you wait, and sometimes security doesn't like people crowding that room). Keep walking until you enter the main Kool Haus room. There will be bathrooms immediately to your right (if you are facing away from the entrance and looking towards the back of the venue). A little bit further to your right will be the entrance to the seating area. There should be speakers to your left and top right, but those sometimes get moved. The meeting spot is in this area, close to the bathrooms. This is the best I could think of for this venue.

yeah, Ed and I found each other at 5am. We waited for a bit. Just as long as everyone had a good time!!

Definitely nice to meet both Ed and jp. It's too bad we couldn't find you two later on in the night. :\ Wandered a bit from room to room but no luck. JP, you should've made that bluelight shirt glow in the dark. ;)

I really enjoyed my little visit to Toronto. Had a fun time meeting AJ as well (who's just naturally gorgeous, as expected). Even with the rain, it was relaxing just to walk around a bit - and altho those wacky Canadians don't have as much of an accent as I thought they would, just hearing a few "eh?"s really made the trip worthwhile. :D

I'll have to plan more trips in the future. /sigh Back to the grind for me...

I can't believe we finally had a Toronto meetup after all these years. Hopefully there will be more, especially after I move back to Toronto in September.

I was there, but didn't make it on time for the meet up (am so sorry)
I was trying to recognize some faces, but maybe I was too high 8(
we stayed right till the end (around 8:30). It was a pretty good partay anyway
can't wait for Steve Lawler next week ... whaaat! ;)

This was a totally fun night. Honestly my faith in the guvernment/koolhaus and their kick ass sounds systems has been totally rejuvenated. I must remember to hit this place up every time it's raining. What a purr-fect night. I wish I could've stayed later..but I had my first shift at a new job the next day.

ne ways I was a little to high on shrooms to be introducing myself to all of you...but the meeting was fun regardles

I suppose I'll write a proper review. Got there around 10:45pm, was in Guvernment by about 11pm. Oliver was spinning (but I had heard him the night before so...he seemed to be playing well). I caught Max Graham's set(I'm sort of confused at the sequence of events). And that was decent. Caught a bit of Picotto. He was banging some hard tunes. Trainwrecks a plenty. Ugh. I think I moved to Guvernment next to see some Way Out West because it was empty (or virtually). I decided to move at that point because the sound was terrible near the stage. Moved out in the center of the room and the sound was ok. Max Graham might have played after. Hybrid's set was great (despite technical problems). Closed out the guvernment. And then caught the tail end of the big bass of KH near about 7ish (Deko-ze or someone else...).

Over all the night was decent 7/10

Scott Bond was a better night.
