Canada to possibly legalise MDMA for PTSD

liver damage with kava kava turned out to probably be only an issue when leaf/stem plant stuff contaminates the "kava root powder"

just fyi

Hahaha, you got it in your head that not only will Canada legalize MDMA, but that cocktails will be used?

Just a sobering (*snicker*) reminder: Canada is the country that outlawed KAVA because of a single unsubstantiated claim of liver damage. Yet I see people from around the world taking it daily for years and their livers seem fine.

I cannot imagine MDMA being given with selegiline in a therapeutic setting in Canada.

Not really, just mentioning the importance of a risk-benefit analysis and the fact that there are many compounds that can reduce MDMA's neurotoxic effects.

But yes you're right, drug cocktails are almost unheard of in the pharmaceutical industry.

^ya i love it almost as much as quoting and calling out people who ask a simple question.

Anyway, thats good news, for sure. Would love to see it move past that and into private practice.
