Can you nod off on codeine?

I personally think that codeine is a very underrated opiate. I have used everything from Hydromorphone and Heroin to codeine and practically everything in between. Other than Heroin I would chose codeine above any other opiate. Give me 150 mg of codeine over 22ish mg of hydro any day of the week. I have used most extensively and for some reason my tolerance to all of the opiates seems to go up extremely slowly, just lucky I guess. I remember nodding off of 15-20 mgs of Vicodin for almost two months straight, only then did I have to raise the dose.

I agree it's under-rated also, but it's my personal opinion.
Some ppl get nothing from it...or if they're not running into walls because they just nodded for
the 20th time..or something to that effect, then they
think that there's no high there. It can be a very "behind the scenes" feeling.
But, IME...the right amount of codeine mixed with a somewhat low dose of diaz..
has made for a few beautiful, not to be forgotten days....
and IMO beautiful days should never be forgotten.

HR: don't mix cns depressants together...this could make for a not so beautiful day
for the opiate/benzo naive.
 
From experience, if you take an antihistamine before you don't get any itching or barely. And you can definitely nod off very strongly with 300mg if it's your first time, I don't even think you need as much.

right...around 130-160mg. is the general sweet spot for first timers.
