Stuff like speed is good for getting you in the mood and G and alcohol can make talking to people easier whilst stuff like 2C-B can make you appreciate music more and provide randomness on the dance floor :D Everytime I go clubbing I take drugs but seeing as I listen to "club music" at home when I'm sober it doesn't bother me.

Tresca said:yeah i know what you mean about the aggression. I think the 'crystal set' have changed clubland for the worse. When I was in my twenties the clubs and parties were so good. Everyone was friendly and smiling and had no problems talking to strangers and connecting on the dance floor etc The E was absolutely amazing back then though. Im talking late 80's-early 90's. You could walk into the hordern and buy E's at the door on your way in, no joke. There would be people standing there just inside the main door openly selling it as everyone walked past, it was amazing. Those days are obviously long gone. People are really weird when you go out now. There is a lot of fear and paranoia. If you try to spark up a conversation, peeps are like "Im sorry but do I know you?"![]()
I agree... that's the main reason I went clubbing back in the 80s (loved Euro-wave and synthpop, not to mention dance music in general... and dancing the night away). Picking up girls was not an insignificant reason either, but seriously, it was secondaryRated E said:^^ @ nofx
I never go to clubs completely sober. I know a few people who do on occasion, and can still enjoy themselves. If you find it so hard to believe, maybe your going out for different reasons than them. A real love of a genre of dance music helps.
