Can You Handle Psychedelics Test/Questions?

Does anyone know if any of these exists? I know some say you have to be spiritually, mentally and emotionally ready but for some people this answer can be very vague and is not what they want to hear. I'm basically interested in questions one would ask themselves and their answer would give them insight on if psychedelics are for them or not (e.x. Do you have a history of mental illness, Do you enjoy your life, etc.) I'm kind of high sorry if this doesn't make any sense.

Are you calm in the eye of the storm?

Can you handle pressure in various intense situations?

^Stuff like this?

could you deal with suddenly realizing youve already died and your actually already in the afterlife??
all of this has been a karmic dream to drive you to the light.
if you can handle knowing this as if it were real, you could handle tripping :)

I really find the crazy stuff begins at a crazy doseage. You can take it easy, no need to do every damn bit of stuff you have all at once.

That may be true but for example in the case of mushrooms they can unexpectedly be very potent, being natural products with a range of potencies... Definitely caught me with my pants down, it would have been as good as impossible to prepare me for that second trip of my life.
But I do appreciate attempts to prepare people as well as we can, just like the guiding role of shamans. I'm not that deep into shamanism in general but I do think that it's painfully lacking considering experimental adolescents (and of course younger and older beginning trippers) often don't know where to start asking the right questions and inquiring for vital lessons. Or worse: being introduced much too casually not even realizing the importance of doing the research - also true in my case.

Are you ready to die?
Are you ready to lose everything, go crazy? Accept whatever comes with equanimity?
And the answer is yes, whether you think so or not. ;)

Read The Doors of Perception by Alduous Huxley. If it sounds cool to you, you are probably in a good headspace for tripping.

Eh it's been a while since I read it but I seem to recall the positive sides are considered much more than any challenges or potential heavy experiences (I say heavy, not the stigmatizing 'bad trip' term).

My view of bad trips has always been this: they're either going to happen, or they won't. The best you can do is consider set & setting but you never know when you just picked the wrong day, or there is some unexpected stimulii or whatever. I think some people worry about bad trips too much, you just need to accept that it's pretty much out of your control. I've had a couple uncomfortable trips and one straight up dysphoric one, I just rode it out and it wasn't the end of the world. Reading a book like The Doors... will put a person in the state of mind where they are expecting a profound spiritual/philosophical/psychological experience, which I think is the best mindset to take a psychedelic drug in.
