Opioids Can you get withdrawals from 1 month of takng codeine & dihydrocodeine?

So I was using both codeine and dihydrocodeine for about 1 month to get off my H habbit..I have not done H for a month now..Should I just go cold turkey on these meds or taper? I only take 80mg and got down to 30mg of dihydrocodeine time release...

Either way you choose to do it, the withdrawals from codeine are going to be much less severe than from heroin. You could go cold turkey if you want. If you're used to H withdrawal, it will feel like a common cold, especially at those low dosages.

You can also continue to taper if you'd like. It can only help. You're going to feel some withdrawal no matter what. That is inevitable. But you've already done yourself a huge favor by switching to a weaker opiate and getting to a low dose.
