Can there be one bad pill amongst 20+?

Everyone was popping ecstasy today, about 10-15 people at least, and so I asked friend for one pill for this to be my first time. He took it out of his pocket in a little bag he had 5 of them all pink echo and gave me one. There I was so happy he was gonna experience this euphoria that everyone there seemed to feel.. but it turned out to be piperazines.. My eyes were not dialated at all and I did not feel euphoric, rather heavy in the chest area and in the throat/head area. I almost had a panic attack..

Was it really one bad pill out of a whole batch? could that be? or is everyone there a moron and thinks they are getting high..

id say its a good chance that they all just enjoyed shitty pills, and you noticed they sucked...

A quick search of PillReport says that the pills you took do in fact have MDxx in them, with reagent test results to back it up. Unfortunately there's no way we can tell you what was in your pill because none of us took it.

But to answer your main question, it IS possible that the one pill was no good, but it's highly unlikely. What's more likely is that you you took a good pill and it wasn't what you were expecting. It's also possible that you guys all took shitty pills and you were the only one that noticed. But the fact that it was your first time makes the first situation much more likely.

Pills usually arent made one by one, but rather, in large (very large) batches, made with the same chemical just varying on doses per pill (which usually doesnt vary by the same amount)


It could be that what your friends experiened was indeed the same thing you experienced, and they just let the placebo effect take over, or the piprazine created a fake roll for them. Ive had piperazines that felt like an extremely mellow almost roll-type experience, though nowhere near how real MDMA feels.

It also could be that you did not receive a pill from the same batch. There could be two of the same prints going around and your dealer or friend or whoever didnt realize this.

There are many different variables or possible situations that could have attributed to the experience you had, but we'll never know forsure.

I suggest posting in the regional pill thread that applies to you and maybe someone in your area (who has experience with the pill) can give a bit more insight.
