So, I have been going through some very varied times lately. When I say that I mean I have been in good spirits then very bad, then good again. I don't see my psych doc, whom I really don't care for anyway, for a few weeks, so I may resort to heavier self-medication. As much as I preach against neuroleptics, for they are horrible for one's health, I am thinking I may need a bit of Compazine here and then to help deal, actually it is 25 mg, quite a bit. Anyhow, they are in suppository form, and was wondering if there would be any damage taking them orally? Thank you, Alex.

They are made in supposoitory form for a purpose, I would stick to that purpose if I were you.

You may feel effects from taking it through a different method of adminstration, but if I were you I'd stick to the recommended method and maybe bring this up with your GP and ask for a non suppository form of the drug. Hope that helps somewhat.

Ugh, aren't they glycerin based? The kind that melts in your fingers before going up your pooper? Don't eat that, that's so nasty...
