Can smoking meth cause UTI's?

I've only done meth a handful of times in the past month or so. I keep getting UTI's, and was trying to figure out is it from the meth or just coincidence. I've only found one other post somewhere else on the internet but didn't leave too much quality information. I have yet to go to the Dr. It seems to get better and it usually comes back after I have smoked, I think, not wanting to smoke again right now to find out still getting over this one…however that could be a side effect of the sex while on it too, lol. Anyway, I was just trying to figure out if anyone else had similar experiences and if it is the meth what is the cause and is there anything to avoid this.

Amphetamines can cause UTI's yes.

I'd go to a doctor, if your urine is tea colored it very well can be kidney failure.

Most likely a UTI
 
Thanks, its normal so no worries about kidney failure. It there anyway around this reaction or just something to deal with?
 
Try drinking water while you're tweaking, I know you won't feel like you want or need to but that's what will help. See a Dr in the meantime.
 
Thanks all yeah ended up in the ER tonight with EXTREME back and stomach pains...said it was close to becoming a kidney infection. Never had to have meds before for an UTI.

All that said I've had more medical issues the few times I've smoke I don't care to do this shit anymore...I'm going back to weed so much happier then:)

Good for you man. I am not one to talk shit about amphetamines, but they do wreak some havoc with the body. Other than that, they are unmatched in my opinion as far as highs go :)
 
yeah I know. Been dead asleep and one little hit and I'm good for the next several hours. Only tried shrooms once those were cool as hell...just can't function normally like u can on amps
 
Meth has always made me more susceptible to UTI's. I remember one run I went on, I had a constant UTI for weeks, it was fucking terrible. I went through all the antibiotics without result until they had to start me at the top of the list again. It has to be one of the worst pains I've experienced.

Drinking cranberry juice or taking cranberry pills can help prevent them, and drinking urine alkalizer helps with the pain.
