Can people with Prakonson's still get high from opioids and stimulants?

Just out of curiosity, if someone with Parkinson's did a few lines of cocaine, would they be able to to feel anything? I'm asking this, because since their whole Dopamine system is fucked, they technically can't feel any drug that functions via increase of Dopamine (opioids and stims), will they feel any drug with exception of serotonin related drugs like MDMA, since the effects of opioids and stimulants revolve around dopamine.

They'd still be able to feel the effects of opis and stims, since they act via opiod and noradrenergic system. Though might be slight loss of flavour.

Though I guess - if PD is a result of loss of dopamine but receptors remain intact, it may be that they actually feel _more_ from dopaminergic drugs (those acting directly on receptor and not via dopamine release/reuptake), as their D-receptors would upregulate in response to decreased dopamine levels.

I'd think any dopaminergic drug should help the symptoms of PD? My grandfather has it and he's just doped up on L-dopa. Doesn't seem to help shit.

If I were to get it I know I'd be smoking fat fucking blunts.

But drugs like stimulants that act so heavily on the noradrenergic system would make the motor functioning part harder won't you think?
