I have a blue pill with 100 on one side and ABD on the other. can this be safely injected? I know safe injection practices.

thank you.

We don't do pill ID's here, but it's more than likely that the pill is not IV friendly. I would take it orally. :)

If someone knows if it can easily be IV'd, please put in your input.

This should eventually be merged with the Morphine Mega Thread, or closed or something.

f&b posted a rather straightforward method that wouldn't be too difficult for someone with a slight amount of chem knowledge.

^ Very true, that is the best method, but requires solvents and a decent understanding of ultra basic chemistry.

most importantly don't cook it.

take off the coating, crush to powder, dissolve in 3-4 ml and do 3 or 4 small shots in 15 minutes or so after the morphine has dissolved completely....I think this method is on heroinhelper as the best way to shoot ER morphine without any real solvents or extended process.

I think they reccomend a double filter as well.

you can use google for most any pill id. just type in the imprint and search and more often than not the name of the medication will show up. just fyi in case you didn't know that.

Ive injected just about every brand of morphine suspended or extended release pills there are available in my country. There are ways to beat the gell thing a little bit but injecting these pills is just plain dangerous and wreckless. Ive shot MScontin twice and both times it scared the living shit out of me. My arm swelled up like a bitch with hives due to the fillers in them and no i am most certainly not allergic to IV morphine and i did not miss the shot. This has also happened a few times when i shot kadians but not nearly as much.

Injecting any of these morphine extended release pills is plain fucking dangerous and is asking for a amputation. I got off lucky in the sense that even though i shot lots of these very hard to prep pills :X that i had no complications from it. A close friend of mine was not so lucky and got a nasty abcess from it. I know lots of other people that have fucked up there arms really bad from injecting these pills as well.

So yeah just eat them. Thats the best advice anyone can give you.

This type of extended release tablet utilizes a wax-matrix system that turns to gelatin when you attempt to dissolve it, unlike OxyContin, which is ridiculously easy to inject.
That said, yes you *can* inject it, but like any pill, not completely *safely.* You need a lot of water, a large spoon, a large-barrel (2 mL or so) syringe and the technique of boiling away the wax. In a nutshell, you mix a crushed pill with about 1.5 - 2 mL water as best as you can, then apply a gentle, steady flame until the mixture begins to boil; after that, you will see white clumps forming--this is the wax. You then use a stirring device to "whip" the mixture around the spoon, and you will see that the wax matrix has floated to the top, leaving your liquid solution at the bottom. Skim off the wax and filter the liquid, commence your safe injection practices.
If you do it right, injecting this solution will produce a walloping rush that makes your entire body throb and tingle. A morphine rush is not pleasant for some--proceed with caution and know your tolerance.
I will not recommend doing this as it is against harm reduction, but this is the safest method I know of and have tried on numerous occasions. Take it for what it's worth.
FYI--the same method I just summarized can be found in better detail on heroinhelper.

Currently reading this board because I have a red painful spot on my arm. It was the first time I put anything in my arm, tried to do some drunk 3am research before doing it but couldn't find what I need. Listened to my friend. Didn't affect my friend.

Taking some antibiotics now. Hopefully that'll help.

It is not a good idea at all to just take anti-biotics on your own, without seeing a doctor. If your arm is worrying you that much, I would highly recommend going to see a doctor about it. I know it is an age old saying, but better to be safe than sorry, huh?

This method isn't healthy, but it works for sure, and yeah,it has a monster rush.I've injected countless MS Contin Pills with this method, and I've never got an abscess or had any swollen limbs.I now get Statex, which is IR morphine, they dont gel and I get the 50 milligram tablets! If you like IV morphine then seek these out, they ar very tiny, they're as easy to prep as Dilaudid pills

Yeah Statex are amazing! Definitely easier to deal with, except the fact they colour the shot up but thats no biggie. My favorite type of morphine for sure.

while i agree you need to use a considerable amount more water (i use between 3-6mL at times) when injecting extended release morphine tabs, failing the fastandbulbous toulene extraction found here in OD, you DO NOT ADD HEAT! you never add heat to any extended release pill. it does not justify pushing the gel to the side. the gel in fact congeals into the solution.

you use extra water, filter two times minimum with a cotton filter and then micron filter. no heat! this is a much safer method failing the F&B extraction and adding heat. it still isn't all that safe thing to be doing, saying all that.
