Can I really mess up quitting OC's??

You'll probably feel a little shitty for a while, but not quitting is what will cause you the actual damage.

I.V.ing OC's? well- it is an opiate, and if you up and quit you will go through withdrawl symptoms- i did herion and opium pretty heavilly for only a few days and when i up and stopped i got pretty ill. I would try to up and quit before you start thinking about harder stuff.

Of course quitting Oxy use regularly after 1 month won't be a 'walk in the park'. If you have access to other opiates, like Vikes, Percs, even Codeine or Ultram USE THEM! It is super rough on the body and mind to cold turkey after 1 month of say 120mg/day usage.
Read through PhreeX's opiate withdrawal guide in FAQ and try to 'ween' yourself off using weaker opiates likeI menttioned (Immodium AD + Alleve if you have nothing else). If you can get your hands on some GHB, I noticed it helped for me w/ withdrawal to opiates, good luck.....

I have given up trying to even tell people not to bang OC - it's pointless... they do it, enjoy the high, their friends tell them it's ok because they use a cotton filter, or because they don't see anything floating around...
To answer the question - if you quit IV'ing OxyContin you will do more good for your body then you will harm, though it's going to feel like the oposite the following few days..
