Opioids Can I inject Dihydrocodeine?

I have some teva brand 30mg IR tablets. Was wondering if they could be injected via IM. I know they cannot be used IV.

Dont know about IMing but I would listen to to the "Captain" (awesome post btw), just IV'd DHC and no probs btw

You CANNOT inject Lortabs (or any hydrocodone/acetaminophen combination pill for that matter.) Hydrocodone cannot be IV'd because it causes pulmonary edema. This isn't even to mention all of the horrific binders/fillers/acetaminophen you'd be injecting.
