Can I get away with sneaking a little grass on a plane?

I'm flying from Boston to Tampa and I'd like to bring a very small amount of weed with me, just a dime bag actually. If I just put it in my shoe, will I most likely get away with it? (Hopefully there aren't any drug drugs in the airport!) Thanks

there can always be drug dogs in the airport. i travel a decent amount, though, and the only airport i've ever seen one at was in denver. i always put it in my pocket or if it makes you feel more secure in yer undies. you're less likely to have your person searched than your bags. don't dress like a "raver" or whatever because then you'd be targeted and they'd be more likely to give you shit or search your bags or something. i've done it numerous times at airports in the northeast and never had a problem.
there's also been other posts in the past about this, you could have found one yerself but whatever.

walking through an airport with weed on you is like firing off a flare gun to any drug dogs that may be there. do it at your own risk...

Don't worry. Its minors.
Just seal the bag real good, and the dogs could never smell it. Those dogs, are looking for pounds.
Make sure you have no metal on you when you go through the metal detector though. because that saves you the added change of being searched.

If you're only taking a small amount, use one of those amber rx pill bottles as your container. They make them up to a pretty big size, I have a friend who gives me his old ones. Those seal very, very well... and if you're really paranoid, you can put that in a plastic baggie as well and not worry about it at all.

I've done it. If you want to take precautions to ease your nerves, wrap up your bud really good, put a lump of peanut butter in a 1/2 size ziplock and then stick the sealed bud in the PB. Zip the Lock. you might want to double bag the finished product. Put that where ever. Keeping it on you will allow you to dodge sniffer dogs. It would suck to have the dog go for your bag and you run for the door knowing the yummy treats are inside. You'll be fine.

I've posted my technique before, but here we go again thanks to the obvious lack of a search button:
get a nice bag of gourmet coffee at a coffeehouse. grind the beans yourself right before your flight so it'll be very aromatic. seal your pot within two sealed ziploc bags, and then place it in the coffee bag. Stow the coffee in your carry-on.
I have never encountered drug dogs on a domestic flight, so I would think you will be OK if you are careful in storing it as I suggested...
