Can i evaporate propylene glycol without damaging the chemical that’s dissolved inside it?

Hello friends. So I made way too much Flualprazolam solution mixed with propylene glycol. Around 1200ml or so. I think id rather just have a small bag tucked away safely than this. Is there anyway that can be done? Thanks in advance

It evaporates so slowly that you're more likely to have the solvent or benzodiazepine destroyed by air oxidation first.

It depends on the chemical within.

Mostly, no. It's so viscous it doesnt lend well to evaporating. Your best bet it just deal with a much higher volume than you're used to or put a bunch more in.

no, there's no easy way to recover benzos from PG solution
PG boils at 188 celsius so you will need a vacuum pump to distill it or you will just make a burned mess (heating benzos+oxygen at ~200C = probably not the most stable)

good answer.

i can attest that many RC benzos vaporize and smoke with heat, and they might well have even lower boiling points, hence the need for vacuum to boil at a lower temperature. that being said, i´ve definitely heated an empty but wet vial of benzo solution and smoked the contents well after the last of the PG disappeared from the surface of the glass, suggesting there was concentration of the benzo as a precipitate while the PG boiled off.

if you feel like experimenting keep in mind that PG will ignite in open flame; prolly not a good idea in a gas oven

I once dissolved what must have been some kind of a mixture of Nep and a local anaesthetic in PG and it is easier to just snort it as is than to make the PG evaporate
