Welcome to BL. Sorry you havin a rough time dear. You made it this far, congrats.

PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome) for a lot of people is the hardest part of recovery to get through. Do a search here at BL and you will find tons of information, personal experiences and knowledge of so many people going through. You are not by yourself for sure. Also, we are all here to talk if you need to. But for sure check out the information here.

"Symptoms include mood swings resembling an affective disorder, anhedonia (the inability to feel pleasure from anything beyond use of the drug), insomnia, extreme drug craving and obsession, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, suicide ideation and suicide, and general cognitive impairment."

Its not just you (if that makes you feel any better). Good luck.

And here is a thread on dealing with these issues that come with PAWS

Hi, Going to detox is just the first step. It was hard for me too because getting home I found myself wanting to get high again. Best thing if you can do this is find a meeting whether it's NA or AA. You don't have to say anything but just go and you will walk out feeling a little stronger. Stay away from trigger situations, sounds like going to your boyfriend's house is not a good place right now. Hang in there. <3
