Can a take lyrica and Ambien

I took 1 1/2mg of Xanax at 4:30am lyrica 1050mg at 10:30 cause I’ve taken the lyrica a few days in a row not feeling that at all, I’m struggling very bad because I’m possibly about to lose my mother and brother at the same time is it safe to take 25mg of Ambien now at 12:30?

Why are you taking the Ambien? Just to try to sleep? Have you taken it before? 25mg is a fairly high dose. You’re not gonna die from combining those, but I’d be concerned that you might be overly whacked out. But if you’re just trying to get some sleep, I can see the benefit. I’d start with a quarter of a pill or 5mg if you have that dose pill, if you haven’t taken it before. People can respond very strangely to zolpidem.

When I take the Ambien I usually take 25mg even though I’m prescribed 10, I don’t know if it will make me sleep given how upset I am but I have nothing else so was just thinking that to try

Ambien isn’t likely to make you feel less upset, so I don’t recommend adding it to everything else you’re taking. But if you’re used to taking that dose, you’re also not going to harm yourself. I just don’t think it’s going to give you any benefit.

I’m very sorry you have usually the Ambien works better than any benzo ive been on for anxiety that’s the reason why I thought might help since I’m not feeling the lyrica at all, Thank you very much for your replies and I am very sorry for your loses!!

If you know that it works well for your anxiety, that’s altogether different and I’d say it’s worth trying. Just be careful because you might be pretty out of it. If you’re just chilling in your room I think you’ll be fine, but I would not go out driving or to work or anything like that. Avoid doing anything that might lead to an accident.
