Can a Lesbian and a Gay person have a relationship?

Perhaps. But I'm not in that in position (Bisexual but like 85% heterosexual and 100% heteroromantic) so I don't really know how to start such a thread.

I'll think about it and see what I can come up with. It's just a curiosity out of pseudo-academic interest. (I'm academically 85% STEM but the other 15% is dilettantism in sociology and psychology. :P)

How did you figure out what your percentages are for who you are sexually attracted to? I would not even know how to do this for myself.

Like the amount of fantasies I have about one vs the other and the amount of girls vs guys that are considered "hot" by lots of people that I personally find hot.

As for knowing how hetero-romantic, cause I just *know* I don't want like a LTR with a guy.

Semi-tangential question:

Does anyone know of/heard of people who are romantically (as in the emotional aspects of love/romance) attracted to one sex but sexually attracted to the other sex? Like exclusively. That would kind of suck I think.

thats what my beef is- what i need in a relationship is what i get from my female friends which is a counterbalance. what i find with gay men is that they are too much the same. its bloody annoying

hmmmmm..... that is an extreme that might warrant a dedicated thread....

Yes I think this is deserving of it's own thread. Go for it :)

I find females very attractive physically, I probably check out females about the same amount that I check out guys. But sexually/romantically, I'm mostly into guys.

These people are bisexual. Sometimes bisexual people will have identified as gay or lesbian, or straight before they realize they're bisexual. I'm gay and I have never dated a woman or had sex with a woman but I have never had any sexual attraction to a woman. I have gay male friends who were once married to women and who had sex with women but this was when they were closeted or in denial, or they were teenagers or young adults and didn't know they were gay at the time but having sex with a woman showed them how they're gay and not sexually attracted to women at all. Others told me how during sex with a woman they were almost an outside observer in a way, or how they had to think about men constantly the entire time in order to get hard, stay hard, and finish when they had sex with a woman.
