I consider myself to kind of hardened and rough around the edges. For a while now I have been considering getting a scooter so I can stop walking and/or taking the bus everywhere. In the used scooter ads I have browsed, for reasons unknown to me, I am drawn to the pink ones. I like to think it would be ironic, but I'm not sure how it would affect my reputation. Would I look like a joke or should I just embrace my feminine side?

thanks for the replies. I guess it is lame to worry about what other peolple think. I usually don't care much about it. I'm leaning towards going for the pink, I just hope the novelty doesn't wear off quickly. It's kind of a big purchase for me.

I would drive that pink scooter all fucking day. I gave up what's stylish for what's practical a long time ago %)
At least it's a way to get around, as it stands I either take my bike or I'm on foot wherever I go.

Edit - I see you live in Chicago as well, so I certainly don't need to tell you how fucked the winters are. Another reason I would love a pink scooter. Sure I couldn't use it when it's snowing, but it's already starting to get cold for my taste, I could use it now :D

yeah, motor scooter season is coming to an end here in Chicago, but that's why there are some good deals now. And I can still get a few weeks, maybe more, use out of it this year.
