California Proposition 19 lost 44 – 56. Marijuana recreational use will not be legal in the state.

According to early exit polls, only 11 percent of voters named Proposition 19 as the reason why they came out to vote and voters between the age of 18 to 39 who are generally in favor of the initiative did not show up to cast their ballots.

Apparently, people were too stoned to get off their butts and actually go out and vote. I don't even smoke MJ and I went out and voted for 19. Sad to see the very people who wanted to get it passed, majority of them didn't know how to get off their couches.

Even though it failed atleast you guys still got decriminalization and medical(which is very easy to get). I live in Florida which doesn't have eather. Not only can I not get a script for a medicine that helps me in many ways; I am actualy denied to right to use it. My doctor drug tests me and as a result of not being able to smoke reguraly I have to be on even more differnt addictive pills than I already was on. When I tested possitive my doctor was even ready to kick me out of the pracrtice to despite how great sufforing is.


Well back to the topic; even though it failed I don't think it will hurt the legalization movement that much. We have got allot of possitive media feedback about it. I believe it will be federally legal within 15 years.
