Hi guys,

There is a lack of information on the internet on Piperazine specific to what I need and none of my friends have ever heard of it.

Apparently in 2011 Glastonbury festival (UK) £13,000 worth of BZP/Piperazine was confiscated by authorities, more than any other drug that year (Cannabis, Ketamine and even Ecstacy/MDMA). What I need to know is..

A) NO PRICES

b) Is that why it caught on, because it was supposedly the "new ecstasy" with similar effects?

c) Do most people actually take this intentionally thinking it's ecstasy?
d) Could Piperazine being substituted in the pill of Ecstasy perhaps linked to the economic crash?
e) finally has anyone actually enjoyed this drug? and think it to be quite a positive/spiritual experience? I've only heard terrible things..

Many thanks!!

We don't really discuss prices here, FYI.

A) cheaper
B) no, it "caught on" because it was legal in many jurisdictions to sell piperazines. people realised you could make cheap "xtc" pills with lower risk than using mdma and flooded the market. it does produce sort-of similar effects, but most trained individuals could tell the difference pretty easily.
C) yes.
D) yes, and the crackdown upon mdma and its precursors.
E) yes, some people enjoy piperazines, but they don't take them as "ecstacy" and the doses are generally much lower than found in street piperazine pills.
It sounds to me like you should consult Erowid...

A) What is the street value (in the UK), per pill of piper and/or gram? Is it cheaper than Ecstasy/MDMA?

A main point is Yes this is passed off as MDMA and sometimes at the exact same price, piperazine hits almost every country in the world because of legality.

A.) Cheaper unless passed off as MDMA
B.) Everything related to this catches on because it can be passed off as MDMA with unlimited supply and larger profits. easier to get
C.) Yes the majority are fooled
D.) - - -
E.) Yes

Thank you for your help! Sorry, didn't realise about the price thing. Any more comments or if anyone knows any links to any articles by online newspapers or official reports would be most welcome! I can't seem to find anything on it.. Or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places..
